Track Training Sessions

Monday 19:00-20:00 Women/Girls only, Road Bikes

Monday 20:00-21:00 Adult Developer Session. Come to this first if you have not ridden with us before. We do a safety briefing, explain all the exercises and have different ability groups. The coaches will guide new riders to activities that will best suit them after seeing them at this session. These sessions use road bikes in winter and track bikes from the start of April.

Wednesday 19:00-21:00 (Winter) Race training using road bikes in the winter.This is for experienced riders only and invited Under 16 and Under 14 youth riders with club coaches approval (No under 12 riders). Please come to the Friday session for induction before attending the Wednesday sessions. Wednesdays are a hard training session overseen by the club's coaches.

Wednesday (Summer) Track bike training starts from the first session in April. Track league racing runs from early May to early September and there will be no separate training sessions on Wednesdays during this period.

Friday 18:30-20:00 Youth riders, using road bikes. This session is as much about learning the skills and fun of riding the track as gaining fitness and speed. You will need to be a Wheelers member, or prospective member, to ride these sessions. Non-members who are not a member of another club or team may ride these sessions for up to 4 weeks in order to find out if it's for them before joining the club.

Friday 20:00-21:30 Adult (and invited youth) Wolverhampton Wheelers members only session, using road bikes.

Prospective Members - 4 weeks at member rates if you are not a member of another club or team. This is to encourage new riders to have a go and join the club if you like what we do,
