For the first time in several years, the Severn Valley GP will return to its traditional mid-July date – 21st July 2024.
This race, a National B, was first run in 1947 and is one of the oldest still-existing road races in the country. It features some of the great names of British cycling in its list of previous winners. It has been promoted since its inception by Wolverhampton Wheelers CC and has served as both National and Regional championships at different times in its history.
The race will be held over 6 laps of the undulating Sheinton circuit with one major climb per lap. The total distance is approx 104km with 1,584m of climbing in total.
Entries are welcome from Elite, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Cat and 2nd year Junior riders.
