Event Report

It was good to see Craig Guy and John Cooper racing in the League again. Both made their presence felt throughout the night with Craig picking up 15 points and John 11 in the Senior A category.

The most entertaining and exciting race of the evening was once again the Handicap. This time being run over 15 laps for the B riders and 16 for the A riders. Everyone started together so the A riders needed to lap the B’s before they could gain any points. Genevieve Billington made the race her own. She held on to the A riders from the beginning taking the Intermediate sprint with ease and it was only Tom White who made a break from the other A riders but he could only make half a lap on Genevieve so she won the whole race picking up 12 points in the process! She now has 63 points in total and leads the Women’s League with 18 points.
